There are a fair amount of new friends here, and it might be time for a fresh introduction.. so hi! I’m Lisa, owner and lead designer for LINNAEA, and creator of @the_elopement_co.

I am somehow in my 14th year of creating floral magic for wedding days and special occasions.

This image is a perfect representation of who you are talking to from the moment you submit that inquiry form until teardown at the end of the best night of your life—I love flowers, I love the event planning process, I love designing your primary bouquets, centerpieces and statement designs, and I really love installations (even the mechanic engineering part).

I don’t think planning your wedding should feel like buying a new car—it should be fun and exciting, not incredibly serious. Perfectly poised I am not, but an invested, experienced, and down-to-earth weirdo…that’s who I am.

I love designing playfully romantic, garden style florals for your day and while I can appreciate a cute bow or pearlized fruit, don’t get too caught up in ultra fussy or super trendy things.

I hold sustainability as close as one can in this industry and use only foam-free methods for all or designs, prioritize locally grown and seasonal product, compost all green waste, recycle and reuse almost everything, and try to put as little as possible into the landfill.

My team is filled with all kinds of incredible humans, many of them within the LGBTQ+ community. We believe love is love and don’t discriminate based on your gender identity, who you love, or what you look like (among other things), and prioritize working with couples and creatives who believe the same.

Seeing the local farms sharing their spring planting progress and even the spring blooms that are already popping is making me so excited for our events this year!

We have a lighter 2024 schedule, but it is filled with incredible couples, beautiful designs, and our favorite venues and industry creatives.

The off season is so needed for us to hibernate and recharge our creative batteries, but we are ready to get our paws on more blooms very soon! 💕
